Villa La Jamisa in Mijas Pueblo is located between Malaga and Marbella, just 15 minutes by car from Malaga airport AGP (but has no flight noise!), at a comfortable height of 400 ms. It is easily accessible using the well-kept A384, which directly connects to the "Autovia del Sol" N 340/A 7 and the new motorway AP7 to the South. Our Villa la Jamisa is in a private street, a bit above the entrance to Mijas Pueblo.

A taxi from the airport is approx. EUR 40 - 45. The official taxis (yellow sign) are usually well-kept and safe.
We also offer an airport pick-up service at EUR 29,- (49,- return).
From the airport there is a regular train to Fuengirola, and from there a frequent bus-service to Mijas-Pueblo. Our bus-stop in Mijas Pueblo is only 2 minutes away (at the BP petrol station).
From Fuengirola there is also a regular train-service to Malaga, and a number of buses connect to many destinations in Spain.

Flights:

There are a great number of low-cost, no-frills flights to Malaga (AGP), so that you just have to shop around for the best deal.
The airport of Granada (GRX) is also worth looking at, as it is only 90 minutes by car.
Another alternative is Jerez de la Frontera (XRY), close to Cadiz at the Atlantic.
The old road A 381 from Jerez to Algeciras, via Medina, has at last been rebuild and has 4-lanes. The connection to Algeciras now takes only 1 hour, so that the complete trip Jerez-Airport to Mijas-Pueblo is just approx. 2 hours.
